Solid Tech Model 6 Speaker Stands
Solid Tech loudspeaker stands have the same design pattern as Solid Tech’s rack systems. Filling the stands with sand will improve performance as the sand brings stability that increases low-level sound dynamics. The stands come with spikes in the bottom to avoid any floor resonance. Most models come with a cable handling system integrated in the pillars.
The Model 6 has a modern look with its use of extrusions as feet instead of the traditional base. With its two pillars and four feet, it is extremely stable and rigid.
A speaker stand brings the tweeter to ear level, lets you accurately position the speaker in the room, and finally, forms a solid foundation that lets the cabinet do its job without losing bass energy or having too much energy from the room or the mounting surface reflect back into the speaker. Stands make a huge difference to bass impact and depth, imaging quality, and overall musicality.
